This walkthrough will guide you through everything you need to know on how to complete the quest “An Important Record” in Lost Ark. A player need to be level 50+ along with the sailing ability to complete the quest.
An Important Record
To start the quest, head to Shadow Island and speak with Ryndon (NPC) to initiate the quest – “An Important Record”. Ryndon will ask you to defeat Rictus on the fifth floor of the tower and bring back Leshar’s Profile.
Defeat Rictus on the 5th floor of the tower
Take the spiral stairs next to Ryndon to reach the fifth floor. You can simply walk past the enemies on other floors. However, when you go to the fifth floor, you may not find Rictus. Instead, you see some other monster called Alifer, coming at you with a giant mace
Rictus is not the only boss that spawns on the 5th floor and its spawn time in the quest “An Important Record” quest looks to be random. So, you have to stay on the 5th floor and keep fighting until you eventually get the Rictus.
The only option here is to be patient and keep fighting other monsters until the Rictus finally appears on the 5th Floor. Defeat Rictus, once spawn and get Lesher’s record. Finally, head back to quest giver Ryndon to complete the quest
