This article will guide you on how to complete the side quest “Ancient Power Unearth” in the game Prince of Persia which was released on 15th Jan 2024.
Quest Location
To begin the Ancient Power Unearthed quest, the player needs to go to Kaheva’s Forge in The Haven after getting Menolias’ Bow from the main storyline. Once you have the Menolias’ Bow, look for a yellow portal in the wall that leads to the forge. In the forge, talk to Kaheva (The Blacksmith) for the second time and choose the “Ancient Power Unearthed” option to start the quest. Kaheva will ask to collect the Ore.
Proceed to the designated location to discover a chest. Upon interacting with the chest, the walls will start shifting to trigger the trap. The trap sequence includes a series of blades traversing from one side of the room to the other, and you must avoid hitting it.
- First sequence: Single bottom blade moving from right to left on the bottom; jump over it easily.
- Second sequence: Two blades moving in opposite directions.
- Third sequence: Both top and bottom blades start from the right. Jump on the left wall, then over them without hitting the spikes on the top.
- Fourth sequence: Three blades move from left to right, time your jump to clear them.
- Fifth sequence: Rotating blade; wait for it to go up, then dash past it.
- Final sequence: Two normal bottom blades and one rotating blade meet in the middle. Afterward, the normal blades return to their path while the rotating one continues left. Stand on the left side, and use the wall jump at the right time to pass through.
Successfully navigate through all the traps, and the chest will reappear, enabling you to open it and obtain the Raw Ore.
