Where to find Applin
Applin appears to spawn in trees. It sits on top of tree limbs rather than hanging underneath them and this makes Applin one of the hardest Pokémon to find in a Pokémon game.
To get Applin in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Trainers must search in the densely forested areas of the world map. South Province (Area One), South Province (Area Two), South Province (Area Four), West Province (Area Three), Tagtree Thicket, East Province (Area One), East Province (Area Two), Casseroya Lake, North Province (Area One), North Province (Area Two)

When you attempt to locate it, start looking up into the tree. Although you may aim at it, getting it out of a tree is difficult since your Poké Ball will not reach it.
The method to remove a Slakoth from a tree is to use Koraidon or Miraidon. You must use the Dash ability to dash on the tree. You can get this after defeating the Stony Cliff Titan, the Klawf.
