The Templar Keys are required to unlock the secret room inside the Manor during the A Damn Fine Gear side quest in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. While you’ll receive one key automatically, the remaining four are earned by completing specific Templar Hunt questlines scattered across the map. This guide explains where to find every Templar Key and how to unlock the Legendary Templar Armor in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
Templar Key #1
The first Templar Key is obtained automatically during the story.
Templar Key #2: Upton Travers Templar Hunt
The second Templar Key #2 comes from the Upton Travers Templar Hunt, located in the northern part of the map. Travel to the quest marker and speak with the NPC to begin the questline. Complete every objective to receive another Templar Key.
Note: If any of these Templar Hunts aren’t available, continue progressing through the main story until they become unlocked.
Templar Key #3: Rhona Dinsmore Templar Hunt
The third Templar Key is earned by completing Rhona Dinsmore’s Templar Hunt in Havana.
Templar Key #4: Opia Apito Templar Hunt
The fourth key is obtained from the Opia Apito Templar Hunt. Travel to the marked location and look for the NPC waiting on the beach. Accept the quest and complete every mission in the chain. Once the final objective is complete, you’ll earn another Templar Key.
Templar Key #5: Anto Templar Hunt
The final Templar Key is rewarded for completing the Anto Templar Hunt, located near Kingston.
Unlock the Secret Room
After collecting all five Templar Keys, fast travel back to the Manor. Enter the building and head into the room on your right. You’ll find a locked door with slots for each Templar Key. Insert all five keys to unlock the secret chamber.
Rewards
Opening the secret room rewards you with the following items:
- Legendary Templar Armor Outfit
- Templar Cross Trinket, which reduces damage taken from enemy melee attacks.
