This article will guide the player through finding all the cartographer locations in Dawnshore, Emerald Stair, and Shatterscarp. Finding all cartographers is part of the ‘Mapping the Living Lands’ series of side quests in Avowed.
Find the Cartographer in Dawnshore
The body of Dawnshore Cartographer Geirmund is located just north of the Usher’s Hand. This location is on the east side of Dawnshore, just outside Paradis at God’s Gate Beacon. Refer to the location on the map.
Find the Cartographer in Emerald Stair
The second cartographer can be found in the Naku Tedek Grounds. Head south of the Naku Tedek Party Camp to locate a body near the edge of the cliff. Fleecia’s Map will be lying on the ground beside Fleecia’s corpse.
Find the Cartographer in Shatterscarp
The next cartographer is located south of Shatterscarp, atop a cliff near the water, just below Twin Offerings Overlook. Retrieve the map from their body.
Wilfrith’s Map will be lying on the ground beside the corpse.
Find the Cartographer in Galawain’s Tusks
For the final map, head to Ash Forest in the northwestern corner of Galawain’s Tusk. There, you’ll find a small abandoned camp. Read the note on the wooden post to learn that the cartographer was arrested and taken to Soreena’s Mercy.
Travel to Soreena’s Mercy and locate Renato Varga in a jail cell. Speak with the jailer to either pay for his release or persuade them to let Renato go to obtain the final map.
