In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the Bad Blood side quest tasks you with finding and saving Pavlena. This guide will walk you through every step to complete the quest successfully.
Starting Location
This quest becomes available after starting Main Quest 5: Wedding Crashers. To begin, visit Herbwoman Bozhena and speak with her. She will explain that her daughter – Pavlena, went to Troskowitz and has been missing since.
Talk to the Innkeeper
Head back to the tavern in Troskowitz and talk to Innkeeper Betty about Pavlena. She will suggest asking at the Rathaus or speaking with Jezhek, as he had shown interest in Pavlena some time ago.
Talk to the Bailiff
Talk to Bailiff about Pavlena and he will point you towards the woodcutter name Dushko.
Ask the woodcutter about Pavlena
Go to the Woodcutter’s House on the east side of town and speak with Dushko about Pavlena. You’ll find him near his house, shouting and looking for Roman. He will suggest checking Roman’s house for more clues.
Search Roman’s house
Next, head to Roman’s house, located across from Woodcutter Dushko’s home. The front door is locked, so use the ladder on the side to enter. Once inside, interact with the table to update your mission objective.
Return to Woodcutter Dushko’s house and talk to him. Ask about Roman and Pavlena’s favorite spot. He will that their fav spot is down the stream and Henry should look there.
Find the clearing & search the crime scene
Head to the location pointed out by Dushko. When you arrive, you’ll see blood everywhere. Look for a torn piece of dress and interact with it.
Speak with Pig Herder
Look for a Pig Herder nearby and ask about the pigs munching on corpses. He will mention a man named Straw, who was in a big hurry and carrying a spade. Straw works at Jakesh’s farm.
Confront Straw
Confront Straw at Jakesh’s farm and ask about Pavlena. He will reveal that while he was burying Roman, her brother grabbed her and dragged her into the rocks.
Find Pavlena
Head into the forest located south of Troskowitz City. When you arrive, climb the ladder leading up the cliffs. There, you will find a man holding Pavlena captive.
Save Pavlena
To save Pavlena, negotiate with Ota. Tell him you spared his brother, Spark, and didn’t harm his dog. Then, say you will let him go and speak well of him. Once Ota releases Pavlena, she will attack him from behind to get revenge for Roman.
Finally, return to Herbwoman Bozhena with Pavlena. She will blame Jakesh for everything and ask you to take revenge on him.
Kill Farmer Jakesh
Return to Troskowitz City and speak with Farmer Jakesh. He will claim he had no part in Pavlena’s disappearance, blaming it on his farmhand. He will also offer to compensate Bozhena for what happened.
Tell Bozhena about reconciliation with Jakesh
Return to Herbwoman Bozhena and tell her about the compensation Jakesh offered. She will then reconcile with him.
