This article will guide you on how to open Ornate Door in Melefic Palace Courtyard in Remnant 2
STEP 1: Get the Faelin Mural Piece
Upon entering the Beatific Palace, proceed past the checkpoint located after the stairs. Take the left path and proceed to the elevator. Defeat the enemies in the area until you will reach your first Checkpoint.
Climb up the spiral stairs to enter the library and take the left door. There are three doors, but only the one to the left is open
Continue along the walkway to find the Faelin Mural Piece.
STEP 2: Get Magic Quill from Jester
Then, walk to the left and up the spiral stairs to the library’s upper floor. Head to the room on the left and take the stairs down at the end. Continue going downstairs to reach the basement.
Continue along the path until you approach Jester at the end, who is sitting on a heap of bones. Interact with him to see him perform. He will give you the Magic Quill after the performance.
STEP 3: Use Magic Quill to reach Ironborough
Retrace your steps back to the basement’s library, where you’ll discover an elevator. Take the elevator to reach the main library, then head towards the right side wall. Use the Magic Quill to draw a door, which will lead you to Ironborough.
STEP 4: Get to the Great Sewers
The journey from Ironborough to Great Sewers is a straightforward walk without any puzzles or obstacles in your path. You can refer to the image below for guidance on reaching the Great Sewers. Kill any enemies you encounter along the path.
Proceed towards the foggy wall at the end to access Great Sewers, and don’t forget to save the checkpoint once you arrive.
STEP 5: Find and Kill the Bloat King
Continuing your journey inside the Great Sewer. The path to Bloat King is also a straightforward walk without any puzzles. Refer to the below image.
Enter the circular foggy wall near the checkpoint to initiate a cutscene and defeat the Bloat King.
STEP 6: Exit the Sewers & Reach Malefic Palace
Once you’ve defeated the Bloat King, descend to the bottom of the sewer and follow the path to exit the Sewers. Upon leaving the Great Sewer, you’ll find yourself at Malefic Palace.
STEP 7: Solve Jester’s Card Puzzle & Get Faerin Mural Piece
Ride the elevator to reach the Jesters’ location. Here, you’ll need to solve the Jester’s Card Puzzle to uncover the next exit. Jester’s Card Puzzle seems to be quite simple where you have to keep an eye on a particular card. I have marked the card below.
The game will present you with four cards. As the cards are placed before you, stay focused on a specific card out of four cards. These cards will be quickly reshuffled. Your objective is to keep your attention on the picked card. After the cards have been reshuffled, choose the previously selected card. For me, the card was placed on the leftmost side after reshuffling.
In the second challenge, these cards will be rapidly reshuffled and changed into a door. Your objective is to keep your attention on the selected card. Choose the proper card once the cards have been reshuffled. This card was converted into a door on the left side of the stairs for me.
Pass through the correct door to find Faerin Mural Piece.
STEP 8: Fast travel to Palace Courtyard
Retrace your steps back to the elevator and go down to find the checkpoint. Fast travel to Palace Courtyard
STEP 9: Open the Ornate Door
Ascend the stairs and put the Faerin Mural Piece and Faelin Mural Piece into the designated floor slots to unlock the Ornate Door.
