This guide shows how to complete the “Beneath Still Waters” Side Quest in the Junon Region of the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth game, which was released on 29th February 2024.

Defeat the Cornered Fiend
Talk to the Midgar Seventh Infantry (Trooper) to start the quest. He will explain that the infantry is waiting for enforcement against a deadly fiend before proceeding farther into the valley.
Start to follow the Midgar Seventh Infantrymen. Defeat the Hell Rider II until it flees.
Track Down the Hell Rider II
Hop on your Chocobo and start to track the yellow scent trail. Defeat a group of enemies on your way to the Hell Rider II.
Pursue the Hell Rider II
Track the yellow scent trail again until you find Hell Rider II. Defeat it again to end the quest.
