Beneath the Lunar Sea is a Meeting Point Quest related to the Curtain-Form Blackbody Containment Lab introduced in Genshin Impact Luna VIII. This article will guide the player on how to complete each objective of the quest in Genshin Impact 4.7.
Find a Way to Open the Gate
As the quest begins, enter the cave and follow the path downhill until you reach a large sealed gate. To open it, you’ll need to place an Ancient Moon Pearl into the socket beside the gate.
As you make your way down the stairs, you’ll find an Ancient Moon Pearl resting near the entrance. Attack the pearl several times to roll it down the slope until it reaches the area in front of the sealed gate.
Next, collect Archaeolune Energy from the nearby glowing energy spheres. After absorbing the energy, aim at the Ancient Moon Pearl and fire the Archaeolune Energy at it. Then, press the Aim button again to activate the pearl’s effect, creating a zero-gravity field around it.
While the zero-gravity effect is active, the Ancient Moon Pearl becomes much easier to move. Push or strike the floating pearl until it lands inside the socket next to the sealed gate. Once the Ancient Moon Pearl is correctly placed, the mechanism will activate, and the sealed gate will open, allowing you to continue deeper into the cave.
Explore the Facility Interior
Once you’re inside the facility, follow the path deeper until you reach an area with two power stations. One of the stations already has an Ancient Moon Pearl installed, so you only need to find one more pearl to restore power.
Start by heading to the left and entering the area with several enemies. Defeat all the enemies.
Head toward the jellyfish floating beside the pile of stone debris.
Use your Archaeolune Ripples (energy bombs) to destroy the rubble blocking the area. Once the debris is cleared, a large container will rise from the center of the room.
Walk over to the container and interact with it. This will activate an Ancient Moon Pearl Launcher, which you’ll use to send a pearl to the power station.
Next, look up toward the ceiling. You’ll see a blue energy barrier holding several Ancient Moon Pearls in place. Throw an Archaeolune Ripple at the barrier to break it, causing the pearls to fall to the floor below.
Guide one of the Ancient Moon Pearls into the launcher, then activate the launcher to fire the pearl across the room. After it lands, continue striking the pearl to roll it toward the empty power station. Once the Ancient Moon Pearl reaches the socket, it will automatically lock into place and restore power.
Activate the Facility Terminal
Once both power stations are activated, the sealed door leading to the meeting point will unlock. Go through the newly opened door and follow the path into the next chamber.
Inside, you’ll find a terminal next to the large tree in the center of the room. Interact with the terminal to activate it. A short sequence will play, and the Beneath the Lunar Sea quest objective will be completed.
