This guide shows the location of all Gourd in Black Myth: Wukong, released on 20 August 2024.
1) Old Gourd
It is the first gourd available in your inventory automatically at the start of the game.
2) Plaguebane Gourd
In chapter 2, defeat the secret boss Mad Tiger, then open the chest at the back of the boss arena to obtain the Plaguebane Gourd. Mad Tiger is available during the Old Rattle-Drum Quest.
3) Jade Lotus Gourd
Location: Bamboo Grove > Marsh of White Mist
Buy it from Shen Monkey NPC in Chapter 3.
4) Fiery Gourd
Location: Valley of Ecstasy > Mindfulness Cliff
In Chapter 3, go to the Mindfulness Cliff shrine. Drop down to the platform just 1 level below and follow the path forward until you reach a wooden chest containing Fiery Gourd.
5) Trailblazer’s Scarlet Gourd
It is a Pre-Order Bonus that can be redeemed from any shrine. It is available from Chapter 1.
Alternatively, it can be obtained in Chapter 3 by speaking with the horse
Location: New Thunderclap Temple > Temple Entrance
From the shrine, go straight into the temple and exit through the back.
Head up the stairs on your left, then turn right. Take the stairs going down on the left and enter the building.
Once inside, go upstairs. At the top, turn left, and you’ll find the Horse Guai/Ma Tianba. Make sure to talk with him until he completes all his dialogue to get the Gourd.
6) Xiang River Goddess Gourd
Location: Webbed Hollow > The Verdure Bridge
In Chapter 4, follow the path behind the shrine and keep heading left until you get a cutscene with the lady throwing knives at lanterns. Enter the room after the cutscene and open multiple chests to find Xiang River Goddess Gourd.
7) Stained Jade Gourd
Dropped by The Scorpionlord boss at the end of Chapter 4 Secret Area – Purple Cloud Mountain.
8) Immortal Blessing Gourd
Location: Bamboo Grove > Marsh of White Mist
At the start of Chapter 5, this item becomes available for purchase from Shen Monkey NPC. To acquire it, you’ll need both Buddha’s Left Hand and Buddha’s Right Hand. Buddha’s Right Hand is dropped by the boss “Buddha’s Right Hand” (part of the main story) while Buddha’s Left Hand is obtained by defeating the boss “Baw-Li-Guhh-Baw.”
9) Supreme Gourd
Location: Furnace Valley > Rakshasa Palace
From the shrine, head to the right, go upstairs, and cross the bridge. Take the left path to enter a room where you’ll find an Old Man NPC.
Talk to him until you’ve heard everything he has to say. Afterward, interact with the fire in the center of the room to upgrade your gourd to the “Supreme Gourd.” Note: Make sure to have your gourd level 9 Healing Charges before you can interact with the fire.
10) Multi-Glazed Gourd
Location: Bamboo Grove > Marsh of White Mist
Buy it from Shen Monkey NPC in Chapter 6.
11) Qing-Tian Gourd
During Chapter 4, it can be purchased from Shen Monkey in New Game+.
