This guide shows the location of all Soaks in Black Myth: Wukong, released on 20 August 2024. Soaks are collectible items in Black Myth: Wukong that modify the effects of the Healing Gourd. They offer extra bonuses such as boosting your attack, enhancing elemental resistance, increasing total health, or amplifying spell damage.
Chapter 1: Black Wind Mountain
1) Soak: Gall Gem
Location: Bamboo Grove > Marsh of White Mist
It is story-related. An NPC called “Shen Monkey” will give it to you automatically.
2) Soak: Tender Jade Lotus
Location: Bamboo Grove > Marsh of White Mist
Head to the right from the shrine to find a Jade Lotus in the water. A Tender Jade Lotus may appear there randomly, so check back every 30 minutes.
Chapter 2: Yellow Wind Ridge
3) Soak: Laurel Buds
Location: Sandgate Village > Village Entrance
From the shrine, cross the bridge and go to the right to reach the village. In the village, find a Buddha statue with a container in front of it. Open the container to get Laurel Buds.
4) Soak: Steel Ginseng
Location: Fright Cliff > Squall Hideout or Valley of Ecstasy > Towers of Karma
Randomly harvested from Ginseng Plants. Ginseng plants can be found near these shrines.
5) Soak: Iron Pellet
Location: Fright Cliff > Squall Hideout
After you finish Man-In-Stone’s quest, you can buy an Iron Pellet from Man-In-Stone’s store for 6,480 Will.
6) Soak: Tiger Relic
Location: Crouching Tiger Temple > Temple Entrance
Enter the Crouching Tiger Temple and interact with the mini statue in front of the Headless Statue and Blood Pond. This will open a hatch to the cellar in the middle of the blood pond.
Drop down into the cellar and follow the path until you come out to an open area. There’s a sliding path you can go down, and the Tiger Relic is on a ledge right before the slide begins.
7) Soak: Copper Pill
Location: Crouching Tiger Temple > Temple Entrance
Enter the Crouching Tiger Temple and go behind the Headless Statue. Follow the path and head up the stairs on the right side to find a gold chest containing a Copper Pill.
8) Soak: Goat Skull
Location: Fright Cliff > Squall Hideout
You can obtain it as a random drop when harvesting “Licorice” plants. One is available in front of the Squall Hideout Shrine.
Chapter 3: The New West
9) Soak: Celestial Lotus Seeds
Location: Bamboo Grove > Marsh of White Mist
Buy it from Shen Monkey NPC in Chapter 3.
10) Soak: Thunderbolt Horn
Location: Bamboo Grove > Marsh of White Mist
Buy it from Shen Monkey NPC in Chapter 3.
11) Soak: Stranded Loong’s Whisker
Location: Snowhill Path > Mirrormere
Start at the Shrine, go to the right, and cross the frozen lake. Look for a small island with just one tree. That’s where you’ll find the chest.
12) Soak: Breath of Fire
Location: Bitter Lake > Turtle Island
It is dropped by the boss Cyan Loong.
13) Soak: Turtle Tear
Location: Bitter Lake > North Shore
Turtle Tear is available after defeating the optional boss -Apramana Bat.
14) Soak: Sweet Ice
Location: New Thunderclap Temple > Temple Entrance
From the shrine, follow the path to the right, then turn left when you see a building with a red wall.
Go up the ramp, turn right, and then take left to enter a larger courtyard with a giant tortoise statue. Drop down on the left side of the courtyard to find a small golden chest containing Sweet Ice.
Chapter 4: The Webbed Hollow
15) Soak: Goji Shoots
Location: Webbed Hollow > Upper Hollow
From this shrine go up the left path and enter the last building to find Goji Shoots.
16) Soak: Purple-Veined Peach Pit
Location: Webbed Hollow > The Verdure Bridge
Follow the path behind the shrine and keep heading left until you get a cutscene with the lady throwing knives at lanterns. Enter the room after the cutscene and open multiple chests to find Purple-Veined Peach Pit.
17) Soak: Deathstinger
Head to the path behind the shrine and walk along the left side wall.
Go down the slope on the left before the Buddha statue and cross the area with hanging larvae.
At the fork, choose the right path.
Then, go up the stairs on the left to find a tree with vines. Defeat the Scorpion enemy in the area to collect Deathstinger.
18) Soak: Bee Mountain Stone
Location: Temple of the Yellow Flower > Mountain Trail
Go up the stairs to the right of the shrine. Take a left and follow the path to find the chest.
19) Soak: Fruit of Dao
Location: Temple of the Yellow Flower > Court of Illumination
Randomly dropped by enemies in a yellow and blue robe

Location: Temple of the Yellow Flower > Mountain Trail
Drop by long-neck tiger enemy in the area.
20) Soak: Double-Combed Rooster Blood
Dropped by Duskveil boss at the end of Chapter 4 Secret Area – Purple Cloud Mountain.
21) Soak: Undying Vine
Location: Purple Cloud Mountain > Valley of Blooms
Dropped by Tree enemy boss at the end of Chapter 4 Secret Area – Purple Cloud Mountain > Valley of Blooms
Chapter 5: Flaming Mountains
22) Soak: Mount Lingtai Seedlings
Location: Woods of Ember > Height of Ember
From this shrine go down the stairs on the left and cross the rope bridge. The golden turtle container is on the right side along the main path.
23) Soak: Slumbering Beetle Husk
Location: Furnace Valley > The Emerald Hall
Defeat the Yin-Yang Fish boss. Follow the path to the left of the Emerald Hall Shrine and climb up the stairs to encounter Boss Yin-Yang Fish and defeat him.
24) Soak: Flame Mediator
Location: Furnance Valley > Valley Entrance
Head right from the shrine. It is dropped by the large Stone lava rock enemy
Chapter 6: Mount Huaguo
25) Soak: Flower Primes
Location: Bamboo Grove > Marsh of White Mist
Buy it from Shen Monkey NPC in Chapter 6.
Zodiac Village
26) Soak: Graceful Orchid
Location: Zodiac Village > Village Entrance
It is obtained by giving all 15 seeds to Chen Loong
New Game+
27) Soak: Guan Yin Willow Leaf
Location: Zodiac Village > Village Entrance
The final Soak can be purchased from Xu Dog in New Game+.
