Black Myth Wukong: How to Upgrade Armor & Get a 3rd Curios Slot
This guide shows how to Upgrade Armor & Get a 3rd Curios Slot in Black Myth: Wukong, released on 20 August 2024. To do these things, you will need to find Yin Tiger. You will find him in the secret realm of the Zodiac Village.
1) Unlock Xu Dog’s Medical Store in Chapter 2
Complete Xu Dog’s quest in Chapter 2 to unlock the Medical Store.
2) Defeat Chen Loong in Chapter 3
Travel to The New West> Bitter Lake> North Shore of the Bitter Lake shrine. Get inside the lake in front of the shrine and fight Chen Loong at the location shown in the pictures below. After you defeat Chen Loong, talk to him and he will ask you to bring medicine from Xu Dog to save him.
3) Get Medicine from Xu Dog
Return to Xu Dog in the Crouching Tiger Temple: Cellar in Chapter 2 (Yellow Wind Ridge) and talk to him as shown in the picture below. He will give you bone-strengthening medicine for Chen Loong.
4) Give Medicine to Chen Loong & Unlock the Secret Realm Zodiac Village
Go back to Chen Loong and give him the medicine. This will cure Chen Loong. He will give you Ruyi Scroll, which will give you access to a Secret Area, the Painted Realm of Zodiac Village.
5) How to Upgrade Armor
Go to the Blacksmith, Yin Tiger. You will find him near the entrance of the Zodiac Village. Talk to him and you will be able to upgrade your Armor.
6) How to get a 3rd Curios Slot
Talk to Yin Tiger and challenge him for a duel. Defeat him and talk to him again. Now you will get the option to Equip More Curios as shown in the second picture below.
