The Blood of Dawnwalker “Someone Needs a Lesson” is a side quest where Coen must deal with Vasil and his cruel father, Atanas. This guide will show you how to complete the quest and cover all three possible endings.
Deal With Vasil
The “Someone Needs a Lesson” side quest starts when Coen encounters Vasil in the village. As you walk through the village, Vasil will shout insults at Coen and then run away.
Catch Vasil
Run after Vasil through the village. When you get close to him, press the prompted button to catch him.
Talk with Vasil
Confront Vasil and choose any dialogue options. Keep talking to him until his father, Atanas, arrives. Atanas will ask you to teach Vasil a lesson. You’ll then need to choose whether to beat Vasil or not.
ENDING 1 – BEAT VASIL
After Atanas gives Coen the chance to teach Vasil a lesson, agree to beat him. You’ll get an interactive cutscene where Coen hits Vasil’s back with a stick several times. After the cutscene, you will have a brief conversation with Vasil about the beating, and the quest will then be completed.
ENDING 2 – LET ATANAS BEAT VASIL
If you refuse to beat Vasil and Atanas offers to do it himself, say nothing. A cutscene will begin showing Atanas hitting Vasil with the stick. After the cutscene, you will have a brief conversation with Vasil about the beating, and the quest will then be completed.
ENDING 3 – BEAT ATANAS
If you agree to teach Vasil a lesson but refuse to hit him, Atanas will offer to beat Vasil himself. Step in and say you won’t let him do it. This leads to a fight against Atanas. Once you defeat Atanas, talk to Vasil about his hard life to finish the quest.
