Mt. Holly Estate is packed with secrets, and finding Room 46 is your ultimate goal. As you explore, you’ll eventually be stopped by a mysterious red door in the Underground. In this guide, I’ll show you how to get past it and continue your journey in Blue Prince.
Where to find the Red Door?
In Blue Prince, the Red Door is hidden in the Underpass area. To find it, you first need to get past the big spinning gears. Once you’re through, you’ll be walking through a tunnel that leads to the Room 46 lever. As you move through the tunnel, stay close to the left side. Just before you reach a large metal gate, look carefully to the left to find a small, hidden path. Follow this path, and it will take you to the Red Door.
How to unlock the Red Door?
To unlock the red door, the game doesn’t provide any direct clue except for a power box right next to the door. We can unlock the red door using this power box. There is a small button at the bottom part of the power box, but it’s turned off. So, to unlock the Red door, we need to supply power/electricity to this powerbox.
To activate the power/electricity, go to the Boiler Room. Once you’re inside the Boiler Room, turn on all three steam tanks.
First, go to the first steam tank and look for the pipe coming out of it. Follow that pipe until you reach the first place where the pipes connect. There, you’ll see a red pipe that isn’t lined up right. Turn it so it fits and connects correctly, as shown in image below.
Next, keep following the pipe until you reach another connection shaped like a “T.” Turn that one too, so it connects to a red fusebox on your left side.
This red fuse box is linked to the power box next to the red door. Once everything is connected, power will flow to the red door.
Now, go back to the red door and press the button on the fusebox. The red door should unlock now.
