Unlocking the West Gate adds a permanent upgrade that allows you to build outdoor rooms at the start of every run. Follow the steps below to unlock the West Gate permanently.
Step 1: Get a Utility Box to Power up the garage
The first thing you’ll need to do is build a Utility Box Room. Once it’s set up, interact with the box inside and switch on the garage button to power up the garage.
Step 2: Construct a Garage
Next, you’ll need to construct a Garage. Keep in mind that Garages only appear in Column One of the blueprint layout. That means you’ll have to head to the west side of the map and work your way up along the edge. Also, building a Garage will cost you one gem.
Step 3: Exit to the outside through the garage
Once you step into the Garage, look for a wall-mounted pad you can interact with. This will open the garage door. Note: This pad will work only if you’ve already activated the power from the Utility Room.
Step 4: Unlock the West Gate
With the garage door open, step outside and turn left. Follow the path all the way to the end—that’s where you’ll find the West Gate. Unlocking it creates a shortcut that connects back to the starting area near the Entrance Hall
