Step 1: Draft a Trading Post
Start by drafting the Trading Post as your outermost room.
Step 2: Craft a Burning Glass
You’ll need to create the Burning Glass tool. Head to the Workbench and combine a Magnifying Glass with a Metal Detector.
Step 3: Unlocking the Hidden Room in the Trading Post
Once you’ve crafted the Burning Glass, take it to the Trading Post and look for the dynamite setup.
Use the Burning Glass to ignite the fuse — this will trigger a small explosion that clears the way, revealing a secret hidden room behind the wall.
Step 4: Emptying the Watering Can
After revealing the hidden room in the Trading Post, your next objective is to find a Watering Can. Once you have it, find three green-themed rooms — these often have plants and garden-like features. Use the Watering Can in each of these rooms to gradually empty it.
Step 5: Refilling the Watering Can with Still Water
Take the empty Watering Can back to the hidden room in the Trading Post and fill it with Stilling Water.
Step 6: Delivering the Stilling Water: Coat Check Drop-Off
After refilling the Watering Can in the hidden room, make your way to the Coat Check room. Just leave the Watering Can at the Coat Check.
Step 7: Receiving the Monk’s Blessing at the Shrine
Draft a Shrine as your outer room and donate 13 coins to receive the Blessing of the Monk.
Step 8: Ending the Day in the Secret Passage with the Monk’s Blessing
With the Blessing of the Monk in hand, you’re now ready to make your way to a secret passage. Once inside the passage, take a moment to rest and “call it a day.”
Step 9: Retrieving the Watering Can from the Coat Check
Go back to the Coat Check room and grab the Watering Can that you left there. The can, still filled with Stilling Water.
Step 10: Open the Hidden Door with the Watering Can
Draft the Secret Passage as your outermost room in the blueprint. With the passage now set, use the Watering Can on the Blank Book located within the hidden room. Pour the Stilling Water onto the book to reveal its secrets — this will cause the book to open and reveal a blue door behind it.
Step 11: Reaching Room 46: The Path Inside the House
Now that you’ve passed through the blue door, it’s time to navigate through this altered version of the house. Follow the path to reach a room Room 46.
