This guide will show you where to find all of the Collectibles in the “Burning Cliffs” area in God of War Ragnarok, released on November 8th, 2022. There are 5 Collectibles in “Burning Cliffs” which is part of the area of Muspelheim.
Note: It’s best to acquire the collectibles after the story as you may lack some unlockable skills during your first visit.
1) Legendary Chest (Divine Ashes / Alternatively: Muspelheim Seed)
Head to the Mystic Gateway of Burning Cliffs area as shown on the map. Go down the cliff and to the right to enter a cave. The Legendary Chest is at the cave entrance
2) Odin’s Raven
To the right of the Legendary Chest to find the raven.
3) Nornir Chest
Next, squeeze through the gap on the left of the cave. Turn left and walk along the wall behind the falling lava.
Continue walking a little bit downhill to find a yellow-glowing rock on the right. Throw the spear at it to blow up. You will find the Nornir Chest behind it.
Note: The Spear weapon can be obtained by completing Main Mission 10: Forging Destiny.
Burning Cliffs Chest Puzzle
To unlock the chest, you will have to light three torches.
Torch #1
The first torch is above the chest. Use Chaos Blades to light it.
Torch #2
Torches #2 and #3 are located across from the chest. Return to where you blew up the yellow-glowing rock with Spear and shot three purple arrows on the wall near Torch #2. Light the nearest purple circle with the Chaos Blades to cause a chain reaction that will light torch #2.
Torch #3
Go back to Nornir Chest and turn around to see Torch #3 near Torch #2. Shot three purple arrows on the wall near Torch #3. Light the nearest purple circle with the Chaos Blades to cause a chain reaction that will light torch #3.
4) Remnants of Asgard
Enter the area opposite the Nornir Chest area. Kill them to complete the Remnants of Asgard ‘collectible’
5) Lore (Rune Read – Valhalla Rises)
In the same area as the Remnants of Asgard.
