Starting Location
This is a Burning Trail is a Side Quest that is exclusive to the Oblivion Remastered Deluxe Edition. You can start this quest by talking to the people of Cyrodiil and asking about rumors. They’ll tell you that the Mythic Dawn cult has been spotted in the Imperial City, leaving strange notes behind.
Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 1
You’ll need to find Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 1. It’s attached to the side of a wooden barrel in the Talos Plaza District inside the Imperial City.
Go near the large dragon statue of Akatosh and look at the wooden barrel to find the Pamphlet.
Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 2
The next pamphlet is at Hircine’s Daedric Shrine, south of the Imperial City. From Pell’s Gate, head toward the statue of Hircine in the hills. Follow the wolf’s gaze to find Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 2 on the other side of a tree.
Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 3
The next clue leads you to Molag Bal’s Daedric Shrine, west of the Imperial City in the Great Forest. Once at the statue, change the time to dawn.
Then follow the clue to head east, where you’ll find Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 3 hidden behind two large trees and a rock.
Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 4
Head to Bravil and find the Statue of the Old Lady in the plaza near the shanty town. Check the stone barriers around the statue, and you’ll find Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 4 on the wall below the statue.
Ranaline
With the final clue, head to Lonely Suitor’s Lodge near Bravil. Inside, you’ll meet Ranaline, but she won’t trust you, even after you’ve found all the notes. To earn her trust, you’ll need to bribe her with gold.
