This article will guide you on where to find all 6 Buddha’s Eyeballs & Shigandang Secret Boss locations in Chapter 2 of Black Myth: Wukong, released on 20 August 2024.
In Chapter 2 of Black Myth: Wukong, players can unlock a secret boss (Shigandang) by collecting six Buddha’s Eyeballs. These eyeballs are hidden inside Buddha head statues scattered across the Fright Cliff region. As you approach each statue, you’ll hear these Buddha head statues chanting, which helps in tracking them down.
Buddha’s Eyeballs 1
Location: Fright Cliff > Squall Hideout
In Chapter 2, when you first enter the Fright Cliff region, you will come across a Buddha’s head on the ground just in front of the Squall Hideout checkpoint. Interacting with this head will grant you the Buddha’s Eyeball key item.
Buddha’s Eyeballs 2
Location: Fright Cliff > Squall Hideout
Head to the right from the Squall Hideout checkpoint. Then, go left and follow along the wall to find the second Buddha’s head.
Buddha’s Eyeballs 3
Location: Fright Cliff > Squall Hideout
From the previous location, turn around to see a staircase leading up to a wooden structure. Climb the stairs and defeat the enemies along the way. At the top of the structure, you’ll find the Buddha’s head.

Location: Fright Cliff > Squall Hideout
From the Squall Hideout checkpoint, take the path on the left. Continue forward to find a statue, then go behind it and follow along the wall to discover the second Buddha head.
Buddha’s Eyeballs 5
Location: Fright Cliff > Rockrest Flat
Proceed to the left from the Rockrest Flat checkpoint to find the Buddha’s head.
Buddha’s Eyeballs 6
Location: Fright Cliff > Rockrest Flat
Enter the cave directly in front of the Rockrest Flat checkpoint.
Once inside the cave, immediately follow the path on the right. Continue upward along the path with blue flames, until you see sunlight. From there, walk along the right wall to reach a ledge with the Buddha’s head.
Shigandang Location (Secret Boss)
After collecting all six of Buddha’s Eyeballs in Black Myth, return to the Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine. Take the left path where you previously found the fifth Buddha head statue. Proceed through the doorway just to the right of it.
Inside, you’ll find a large rock with multiple faces on it. Place the Buddha’s Eyeballs here to begin the boss fight with Shigandang.
