This walkthrough will guide you through the locations of all three “Umbran Tears” in Chapter 3 of Bayonetta 3 (A Nintendo Switch exclusive released on 28 October 2022).
1. UMBRAN TOAD
As soon as chapter 3 starts, move ahead through the broken platforms until you reach a platform which has a big white bus on it (see the images below). From this platform you’ve to go left –> Jump on the broken train to enter the tunnel / cave. Go through the cave and exit the cave from the other end (But don’t jump out of the cave). As you reach the ledge of the exit you will notice the TOAD hanging from the ledge on the left side. You can also check out the YouTube Video Guide for better understanding.
2. UMBRAN CROW
After collecting the Umbran Toad jump out from the cave and take the path to the right to reach the top of a broken building. The CROW is sitting on top of the tallest corner of the building (see images below). Equip G-Pillar (weapon) before approaching the crow. As you get near the crow it’ll fly to the right. Quickly change into the demon form (you’ll automatically transform into the demon form when you double jump) and dash towards the broken highway on the right side of the building. 3. UMBRAN CAT
After clearing Verse 3 move ahead and take the circular uphill path on the right. When you reach up, you’ll notice the CAT in front of you (at the corner of the green-roof house). When you approach the cat, it will escape through the narrow passage on the side of the house. First, get on the roof of the green-house and knock-down the debris to block the narrow passage. Now, start the chasing the cat. It won’t be able to escape through the narrow passage now and you’ll be able to corner the cat.
