This is a step-by-step guide to show how to complete the quest ‘Fox Quest’ during Chapter 3 of Black Myth: Wukong, released on August 20, 2024.
Talk to the Fox Spirit
Location: Valley of Ecstasy > Forest of Felicity
To start the quest, go to the ‘Forest of Felicity’ shrine in the ‘Valley of Ecstasy.’
There, you’ll find a corpse next to the gate. Talk to the corpse until a fox spirit appears and gives you the ‘Snow Fox Brush.’ The fox spirit will then ask you to find his killer, who is a monk at the New Thunderclap Temple.
Find the Monk in Thunderclap Temple
Location: New Thunderclap Temple > Temple Entrance
Fast travel to the ‘Temple Entrance’ shrine in the ‘New Thunderclap Temple’. From the shrine, go straight into the temple, then exit from the backside.
Go up the stairs on your left, then turn right.
Take the stairs going down on the left and enter the building.
Once inside, go upstairs and cross the bridge to reach a temple where you can find the monk.
Change to Fox Form
Before you enter the temple, open your inventory and use the ‘Snow Fox Brush’ to turn into a fox. When you enter the temple as a fox, a cutscene with the monk will start.
Non-Void Secret Boss
Defeat the monk after the cutscene to get the Non-Void spirit.
Return to the Quest Giver
Finally, return to the ‘Forest of Felicity’ shrine in the ‘Valley of Ecstasy and speak with the corpse to end the quest.
