Chapter 4: All Collectibles Location Guide | Dead Space Remake

This guide shows how to find all the Collectibles in Chapter 4: Obliteration Imminent in the game Dead Space Remake.

1) Log #52 – The Marker

It is a story-related item and is available automatically after arriving at the Bridge Tram Station.

2) Log #53 – Bridge Attack

It is available as soon as you reach the Main Atrium. Turn right to find this on the floor near where the ground was damaged.

3) Log #54 – Eckhardt’s Clearance

It is inside the Captain’s Nest. Just follow the main storyline.

4) Log #55 – More Time

You can find it just to the left of the previous log.

5) Side Mission 2 – You Are Not Authorized + Security Clearance Level 2

Interact with the console located near the logs. Use the rig from Chapter 2 to activate the terminal, which will offer you 7 individual side missions, one for each rig you need to deliver here. We’ll pick them up in the remaining chapters

After completing the conversation at Captain’s Nest, you will be granted Security Clearance Level 2.

6) Log #56 – Shoot It In the Back

You will meet the first Brute after returning to the Main Atrium. Instead, you assault it, run away for around 30 seconds and Hammond will call you. This is missable – wait for the call before attacking.

7) Node #14

It is dropped by the Brute in Main Atrium.

8) Log #57 – Captain’s Fate

It is inside the “Armory Room” of the Security Room from where the Brute came out.

9) Node 15

It is inside the Storage Room near Mining Administration on Floor 2.

10) Log #58 – Electrical Fault

It is a story-related item and is automatically available as you approach Mining Administration.

11) Weapon 7 – Contact Beam

On Floor 2 inside the Records Office.

12) Log #59 – Tracking Infection

After entering Mining Administration, proceed to the left to access the “Main Fuses” room, where you may open the fuse on the wall by shooting it.

Next, proceed to “Admin Server Maintenance,” which is located to the right of the Mining Administration entrance. Then go inside another room at the rear to find the log.

13) Node 16

On the wall of the same room.

14) Log #60 – Mining Admin Rerouted

This story-related item is automatically available after rerouting power from Mining Administration.

Note: Logs 60, 63, and 67 cancel each other out, therefore you can only receive two out of three logs every playthrough.

15) Log #61 – Believers

Return to the elevator and choose Floor 3. Look at the orange screen inside the Break Room near Electrical Systems to get this log automatically.

16) Log #62 – Unitology Article

On a bench in the corner of the same room.

17) Weapon Upgrade 6 – P.C.S.I Custom Magazine (Pulse Rifle)

It is inside the Electrical Systems Storage room which is locked. Go to the opposite side of the room, stand behind the shattered window, and use kinesis to shift the crates by the door before shooting the fuse to open it.

18) Node 17

It is dropped by the Brute in Electrical Systems.

19) Log #63 – Watch the Outlets

It is a story-related item and is available automatically after rerouting power from Electrical Systems.

Note: Logs 60, 63, and 67 cancel each other out, therefore you can only receive two out of three logs every playthrough.

20) Log #64 – Med-Sci Reports

It is a story-related item and is available automatically after you head back to the elevator.

21) Weapon Upgrade 7 – Supersymmetry Tether (Contact Beam)

After returning to the Main Atrium via elevator, enter The Crew Deck through the door and purchase from Shop for 12,000 Credits.

22) Log #65 – Looking for Elizabeth

Take the second elevator in Main Atrium to Water Purification. You will find the log on the floor in the first room.

23) Log #66 – Manual Targeting?

It is a story-related item and is available automatically after having cleared all 3 rerouting power objectives.

24) Log #67 – Water Purification

It is a story-related item and is available automatically after rerouting power from Water Purification.

Note: Logs 60, 63, and 67 cancel each other out, therefore you can only receive two out of three logs every playthrough.

24) Schematics 6 – Intermediate Engineer Rig

It is inside the EVA Prep Room.

25) Log #68 – Sync the ADS Cannons

It is a story-related item and is available automatically after going up the elevator.

26) Log #69 – Hold On (Side Missions)

Continue to follow the main mission to find this log on the wall next to the save station. It is before you calibrated the cannon. This log is counted in the side mission.

27) White’s Rig (Item for Side Mission 2 – You Are Not Authorized)

It is available at the end of the ADS section after calibrating the thrid cannon, found floating on a ledge to the left.
