Chapter 4: Obliteration Imminent
This guide shows how to complete Chapter 4: Obliteration Imminent in Dead Space Remake. The guide only shows the main mission objectives and does not include the collectibles. Please note that you will be able to access some areas only from the story progression. So, if you are unable to open some doors then don’t fret as you will be able to access those areas later.

Go to the Bridge
As the mission starts, hop on the Tram in the Engineering Tram Station and take it to the Bridge as shown in the picture below.
Meet Hammond in the Captain’s Nest
Get off the tram then turn right and use the locator to make your way towards the Main Atrium. Once you are in the Main Atrium, climb down the stairs and take the elevator to reach the Captain’s Nest, where you will meet Hammond. After this, your Security Clearance will increase to Level 2.
Activate the Elevators
Take the elevator back to the Main Atrium and go towards the Security Room there. As you approach the Security Room, a giant enemy will come out. Use Statis on it to slow it down and then shoot the boils on its back to defeat it. Now go inside the Security Room and use the console there to activate the elevators.
Power and Restart the ADS Cannons
To complete this objective, you will have to reroute power from Mining Administration, Electrical Systems, & Water purification.
Reroute Power from Mining Administration
Go back to the Main Atrium and enter the elevator. There are two elevators in the Main Atrium, so make sure that you enter the correct one. Take the elevator to Floor 2 as shown in the picture below. Hop off the elevator and go to the Administration Access Corridor. Then continue on the linear path to reach the Mining Administration. There you will find a Circuit Breaker at the center of the room. Use it to power ADS Cannons as shown in the second picture below.
Reroute Power from Electrical Systems
Go back to the elevator and take it to Floor 3. Now use the locator to make your way to the Electrical Systems. There you will find electrical hazards on the floor as shown in the picture below. These hazards will stop for a few seconds. Use this time to traverse across.
Go towards the left side of the room. When you reach the left end, a giant enemy will emerge. Use Statis on it to slow it down and then shoot the boils on its back to defeat it. After defeating it, go to the small room on the left edge of the Electrical Systems. There you will see two naked wires as shown in the picture below. Use Statis on these wires to slow them down. Then use the Circuit Breaker behind them to power the ADS Cannons.
Reroute Power from Water Purification
Go back to the elevator and take it to Floor 1 to reach the Main Atrium. Defeat the enemies there and then enter the second elevator in the area as shown in the picture below. It is behind the elevator which you used to come down before. This elevator will take you to the Water Purification.
Hop off the elevator and go left to find the Circuit Breaker as shown in the picture below. Use the Circuit Breaker to power the ADS Cannons. This will complete the Power and Restart the ADS Cannons.
Calibrate three ADS Cannons
After Rerouting Power from Water Purification, go through the door on the left side of the Circuit Breaker. Take the elevator ahead and continue on a linear path to reach the Exterior Access. here you will see three ADS Cannons as shown in the picture below. Approach an ADS Cannon and interact with it. Then point the ADS Cannon toward three asteroids. Destroying three asteroids with the ADS Cannon will calibrate it. Calibrating all the there ADS Cannons will complete the objective.
Return to the Captain’s Nest
Trace your path back to the Water Purification. As you reach there, the objective will be canceled and the mission will also end.
