This article will guide you on how to find all 5 Elemental Carts to reach the Bishui Cave Guide (Secret area) in the game Black Myth: Wukong, released on 20 August 2024.
Step 1: Defeat and Talk to mini-boss Pale-Axe Stalwart (NPC)
Location: Woods of Ember > Ashen Pass I
Go to the Ashen Pass I Shrine in the Woods of Ember. Proceed to the left of the shrine until you see a fight going on. There you will find a bull-shaped enemy named Pale-Axe Stalwart (NPC). Beat him, and then talk to him. He’ll tell you to destroy five Element Carts to reach Bishui Cave, a secret area in Chapter 5.
Step 2: Defeat Brown-Iron Cart (First Cart)
The first Five Element Cart is right above the mountain where you meet the NPC Pale-Axe Stalwart. Just climb the steps and defeat the cart.
Step 3: Defeat the Grey-Bronze Cart (Second Cart)
Location: Woods of Ember > Height of Ember
How to reach the Height of Ember Shrine
Follow the path behind the previous boss, take a left at the shrine (Camp of Seasons), and cross the rope bridge.
After entering the cave, go down the slope on the left side when you exit. Cross the wooden bridge, continue straight, and follow the stairs.
Pass another rope bridge, then go up the stairs again to reach the Height of Ember Shrine.
Fight Grey-Bronze Cart (Second Cart)
Go to the left side of the shrine and enter the door. Head down the slope, then go through the cave with a narrow passage at the end to find the third cart.
Step 3: Defeat the Grey-Bronze Cart (Third Cart)
Location: Furnace Valley > Valley Entrance
Go to the right side of the shrine and enter the lava cave to find this cart. You don’t have to fight; pull the rope hanging from its face 3-4 times. This part is linked to the Horse Guai Quest Guide
Step 4: Defeat the Crimson-Silver Cart (Fourth Cart)
Location: Furnace Valley > The Emerald Hall
Follow the path to the left of the Emerald Hall Shrine and keep going up the slope until you reach the fourth cart. Also note: There will be a boss fight with Boss Yin-Yang Fish in the Emerald Hall area.
Step 5: Go back to Ashen Pass I and speak with NPC
Location: Woods of Ember > Ashen Pass I
Talk to Pale-Axe Stalwart (NPC) at the Ashen Pass I Shrine and make sure to go through all the dialogue options. This is the same location where you defeat the NPC earlier at the start.
Step 6: Go back to The Emerald Hall Shrine and speak with NPC
Location: Furnace Valley > The Emerald Hall
Talk to Pale-Axe Stalwart (NPC) at the Emerald Hall Shrine and make sure to go through all the dialogue options. This is the same location where you defeat the Crimson-Silver Cart (Fourth Cart) earlier.
Step 7: Find the Fox
Location: Field of Fire > Ashen Pass III
Go left from the shrine until you see a giant rolling metal ball. Go past it, and you’ll find a fox. The fox will change into a girl. She will use her fan to clear the flaming barricades in the next area (Cooling Slope).
Step 8: Defeat Rusty-Gold Cart (Fifth Cart)
Location: Field of Fire > Cooling Slope
Go to the big door on the far right side of the shrine and defeat the Rusty-Gold Cart. After you win, you’ll get the Flame Orb.
Then, talk to the injured Pale-Axe Stalwart on the left side of the door.
Step 9: Open the Frozen door of Bishui Cave (Secret Area)
Interact with the frozen door to open the frozen door. Once you’re inside, find the large pillar. Stand near it, and it will teleport you to the Bishui Cave secret area.
