FF7 Rebirth: Swindling Seminar

This guide shows how to Unlock the Elevator in Coal Mines in Chapter 7 of the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth game. You get the objective at the location shown in the picture below.

Once you get the objective, grapple to the rod and jump across the gap to the other side. Then turn around and look east. You will see a rod with a cloth. When the prompt appears as shown in the picture below, throw Yuffie’s Shuriken to unlock the grapple point.

Now use the two grapple points to jump across the gap to reach the platform on the other side as shown in the picture below. After landing on the platform, turn around and use the grappling point to reach the wall on the other side as shown in the second picture below. Then climb up the wall to reach the top. Defeat the enemy there and then you can power up the elevator as shown in the third picture below. This completes the objective.
