This guide shows how to solve the “Seek Three Great Wise Beasts” puzzle in Chelona’s Rise tower in Elden Ring. After solving the puzzle, you will be able to get a Ranni’s Dark Moon. Testu’s Rise is on the southwest side of Liurnia at the location marked in the pictures below.
Chelona’s Rise: Seek Three Wise Beasts
Read the book at the bottom of the stairs of the tower. The book says “Seek three great wise beasts”. After reading the book, climb the stairs and go near the sealed door as shown in the picture below. This will make tree turtles spawn in the area. You will have to find and hit the three turtles to break the seal of the door.
From the tower entrance, go right. You will find the first turtle hanging from the cliff wall as shown below.
The next turtle is far east of the tower location as shown below. Make sure that you go there manually. Fast traveling will make the turtles disappear.
The final turtle is far north of the tower location as shown below. Make sure that you go there manually. Fast traveling will make the turtles disappear. Walk onto the updraft. This will throw you high in the air. This will automatically destroy the third turtle, which is high up in the air. Hitting the three turtles will break the seal on the tower. Enter the tower and go to the top, where you will find a chest containing Ranni’s Dark Moon.
