In this guide, we will show you how to complete the objective “Cleanse the corruption throughout the area and restore the barrier core” for the world quest “Tower of Inversion” in Genshin Impact Version 6.3.
Cleanse the corruption throughout the area (1/3)
The first damaged barrier core is on the south side of the tower. Go to the location and defeat a Pyro Abyss Mage and a Hydro Abyss Mage guarding the barrier core.
Next, look around the area to find the broken piece of the barrier core hidden under the giant roots blocked by Abyssal Riftlines. To break the blockage, look for a Super Sharp Spirebloom nearby on the ground. Use it to break the Riftlines.
Once the Riftlines are destroyed, defeat another wave of enemies, including a Hydro Hilichurl Rogue and Fishers of Hidden Depths.
After the fight, go to the broken piece of the barrier core and interact with it. Next, move away from the roots into the open area from where you can clearly see the main barrier core. Then aim and shoot the broken piece toward the core and repair it.

The second damaged barrier core is located east of the tower. Use the nearby Super Sharp Spirebloom in the area to break the Abyssal Riftlines. Once the path is clear, pick up the broken piece of the barrier core and bring it back toward the main core.
While doing this, Rockfond Rifthounds will spawn and attack you. Defeat all of them. After the fight, break the Abyssal Riftlines again using the Spirebloom and keep repeating until the Riftlines stop spawning.
When the area is finally clear, pick up the broken piece of the barrier core and then move it to a spot where you have a clear view of the main barrier core. Then aim and shoot the broken piece toward the core and repair it.
Cleanse the corruption throughout the area (3/3)
The third damaged barrier core is located northeast of the tower, inside a sealed cave. To remove the Blightseep Field, pick up a Mandragora and place it between two unlinked triangle crystals. Start by placing the Mandragora on the back left side. This creates the correct link needed to weaken the barrier.
Next, pick up another Mandragora and place it between the unlinked triangles near the cave entrance. Once everything is lined up correctly, the Blightseep Field will disappear, allowing you to enter the cave.
Now go inside the cave and pick up the Intricate Bloom core. Stand slightly to the right until you are aligned with the center of the cave. Refer to the image below. When done correctly, this will remove the barrier from the core.
Finally, pick up the broken piece of the barrier core and move to a spot where you have a clear view of the main barrier core. Aim and shoot the broken piece toward the core to repair it.
