When you explore Drakesfall Gorge in Crimson Desert, you will find some old ruins with a puzzle inside. In this guide, you will learn how to solve the Ancient Ruins puzzle step by step in Crimson Desert.
How to solve the Drakesfall Gorge Ruins Puzzle
Once you reach the puzzle area, you will notice two straight rows of stone statues lined up on both sides of a narrow path, with a large King statue standing at the far end in the center. At the start of the path, there is a stone platform. Step onto this platform to begin the puzzle. As soon as the minigame starts, the statues on both sides will lift their swords.

The King statue at the end controls the puzzle. It will slowly turn its head from side to side, watching the path in front of it. When the statue looks in your direction, you must stop moving immediately. If you continue to move while it is watching, you will be detected, and the puzzle will end. When the statue looks away, carefully time your movement, walking a short distance each time and stopping at the right moment.

As you progress, stay focused on the statue’s head movement. Move forward step by step, pausing whenever the head turns toward you, and continue this pattern until you get close to the King statue.

Once you safely reach the end without being detected, interact with the pedestal near the statue to complete the puzzle. You will then receive your reward: Abyss Artifact x1.
