Location
The Black Wall Ruin is located in the Pailune region. Head to the north of Pailune and travel east until you spot the Mysterious Energy marker. The ruins sit right at the Black Wall mountain range in the area. Refer to the map below.
Talking to the Scholar
Before you start the puzzle, make sure to speak to the scholar standing right next to the ruins. He will give you a quest called Secret of the Ruins and ask you to complete a specific task. Make sure you follow this mission through before attempting the puzzle itself.
How to Solve the Black Wall Ruins Puzzle
Once you finish the scholar mission, head up the staircase to find a stone block a path at the top. Use your Nature’s Grasp skill to lift the stone block and enter inside.
Let Nature’s Grasp ability expire after a few seconds. Once it does, the Black Wall Ruins puzzle is complete. After completing the puzzle, you can collect the Abyss Cresset.
