Bustling Hill is the 45th main mission story quest in Crimson Desert that focuses on expanding your camp at Howling Hill. In this mission, you will learn how to send your companions on a camp mission, which is an important system for progressing your base and gathering resources over time.
Go to Howling Hill Camp
At the start of the quest, head to the Howling Hill in the Hernand region. Even if your character is not physically there, you can still manage this quest directly from the map.

Zoom in on the camp icon and look for the Inspect option at the bottom of the screen. Select the Inspect option (Y/Triangle). This will open the camp management screen.

Open the Mission Menu
Inside the camp screen, switch between the tabs at the top (using LB/RB ) until you reach the Missions section. Here, you will find the Howling Hill Expansion mission. Select it to view more details.

On the right side, you will see:
- Required number of companions
- Time needed to complete the mission
- Resource cost (like food and copper)
- Rewards for completing the mission

Make Sure You Have Enough Resources
Before you can start the mission, check if you have enough camp resources. If you are short on camp money or materials. Go to the right side of the main tent in the camp to donate.

- Look for the Donate Funds option. Use this to add resources back into the camp to get enough camp money.

Assign Companions and Dispatch
Once you have enough resources:
- Select the mission and choose the required companions from the list.
- Review their skills if needed and press the Dispatch button.
A message will confirm that your team has been sent on the mission.

Wait for the Mission to Complete
After dispatching, the mission will begin and show progress (for example, 0% at the start).
You now need to wait for it to finish:
- Continue exploring and playing normally, and do other side quests.
- Or wait in real time if you prefer
The mission will take several (around 18 hours) in-game hours to complete.
