Crimson Desert is packed with challenging puzzles, and the Dragon’s Stone Chamber in Hernand Highlands has left a lot of players scratching their heads. In this guide, we’ll walk you through step by step on how to solve the Dragon’s Stone Chamber puzzle in Crimson Desert.
Location: Dragon’s Stone Chamber Puzzle
The Dragon’s Stone Chamber is located in a big hole in the ground in the Hernand Highlands. Look southeast of Howling Hill for the question mark on the map to find a mysterious energy source. Refer to the image map.
To reach the puzzle area, glide down into the opening and look for a door or opening on the northwestern wall of the cave.
How to solve the Dragon’s Stone Chamber puzzle in Crimson Desert
Once you reach the puzzle area, you will find a mural-painted wall and a door. To get inside the chamber, push the door inward and step inside.
Finding the Puzzle Mechanics
Inside the chamber, drop down into the square pit located in the center of the room. Here you will find three discs mounted on the wall of the pit. Your goal is to rotate each disc into its correct orientation to unlock the chamber’s reward.
The clue for the correct orientation is hidden in plain sight. Look at the paintings on the chamber’s walls. It contains a map pointing to three specific locations you need to visit. Each location holds an image that shows you exactly how each disc should be positioned.
Visiting the Three Locations
All three locations are found in Anvil Hill. Head out and visit each one, then look along the cliff walls to find the symbols painted. Take note of each symbol carefully, as you will need to match them back in the chamber.

Solving the Puzzle
Once you have noted all three symbols painted, return to the cave and rotate each of the three discs to match the symbols you found. Make sure all three discs are rotated and positioned correctly, as shown in the image on the cliff wall. I’ve attached one of the images below for reference.
When done correctly, a door on the north wall of the Dragon’s Stone Chamber will swing open, revealing your reward inside: an Abyss Cresset containing an Abyss Artifact.
