In Crimson Desert, this quest puts you in charge of repairing an artillery cannon and taking down enemy watchtowers from a distance. In this guide, you’ll learn exactly where to go, how to fix the cannon, and the easiest way to destroy all the watchtowers quickly.
Speak with the soldier at the gunsite
As the quest begins in Crimson Desert, head to the location marked on the map and make your way up to the artillery tower where your allies are waiting. You can follow the map marker to reach the exact location.
Once you arrive at the top, use your torch to look for the soldier with a yellow “!” icon above his head. You’ll usually find him standing near a broken artillery cannon with visible wheels.
After speaking with the soldier, interact with the cannon’s wheel to repair it. This will make the artillery usable again and allow you to proceed with the objective.
Destroy the Black Bears’ watchtowers
Once the cannon is fixed, your goal is to destroy the enemy watchtowers. Look for four towers in the distance with black smoke rising from them. Aim the cannon carefully and fire at each tower. A direct hit should be enough to destroy a tower, but if your shot lands slightly off, you may need a second hit.
For better visibility, it’s recommended to attempt this objective during the day. The smoke from the towers is much easier to see, which makes aiming the cannon more accurate and helps you complete the task faster.
