How to solve Halssius Conflux Ruins Puzzle

Puzzle Mechanism

The puzzle consists of a metal dial-like structure on the stone surface. There are three stone circles around the middle with a statue sitting on a pedestal. At first, only the outer circle will have symbols displayed on the stone tiles. As you progress, the other two circles will reveal their symbols.

The central statue emits a beam of light pointing at the statue nearby. That statue might depict a person, an animal, or an object. Your job is to rotate the metal grate so that the correct symbol on the ground lines up under it.

Solution: Halssius Conflux Ruins Puzzle

Follow the steps below to complete the puzzle.

Step 1: Clear the debris

First, move the two fallen stone pillars lying on the ground. Use Nature’s Grasp to lift them up and move them outside the puzzle area.

Step 2: Check the first symbol appearing on a statue

Circle all three statues and look for the glowing light from one of the symbols. At the start, only one statue shows a coin-like symbol.

Step 3: Rotate the metal grate to get the coin symbol

Drive your sword into the black pillar at the end of the grate, then push sideways to rotate it around the center. To move the metal grate, you need to use the Stab skill:

Control: R1 + Triangle/ RB + Y / Shift + Right Click

Move the grate so the hole closest to you lines up with the coin symbol on the outer ring. When you pull out your sword, a beam of light will shine through the symbol on the ground, confirming it’s correctly aligned.

Step 4: Rotate to get the Scales symbol

Use Stab again and move the grate until the hole closest to you is positioned over the Scales symbol on the outer ring. The matching symbols from the middle ring should be the Music Instrument and the Jar.

Step 5: Rotate the Horse symbol

Use Stab one more time and move the grate slightly to the right until the two Horse symbols from the outer and middle rings align under it.
