This walkthrough will guide you through the objective “Activate the power plant” of the Beating Heart main quest in Crimson Desert.
When you arrive at the quest marker, head inside the large building and make your way to the first floor. This will lead you to the room housing the Thermal Power Plant machine.
To activate the power plant, you need to interact with the machine in front of you in a specific order. The process looks complicated at first glance, but once you know what to do, it is actually pretty simple. Start by pulling down the lever on the machine. Next, look at the bottom right side of the machine, and you will spot a button with a circle symbol.
You cannot interact with it normally; you have to kick it to get it to activate. To do this, hold L2 (LB on Xbox) and press Triangle (X on Xbox) while standing close to it.
After you kick the floor button, a second lever will drop down. Simply hold the lever down and keep holding it. This triggers a cutscene where all the gas ignites, and the power plant roars to life.
Once the cutscene ends, the objective will be marked as complete.
