If you have been stuck on how to raise the Calphadean banner in the quest “The Counterattack” and can’t figure out how to move forward, you are not alone. This is a quick guide to walk you through exactly what to do to complete the objective “Raise the Calphadean banner pike” in the mission in Crimson Desert.
Pick up the banner
As the quest starts, go to the battlefield and pick up the banner using the Nature’s Grasp skill. You need to use Y+B to grab the banner. Once the banner is in your hands, carry it to the wooden platform.
Aim the banner
On the wooden platform, you’ll see the slot where the banner needs to be placed. Move close to it, press LB/L1 to target the placement point, then press X/Square to insert the wooden pole into the slot. Make sure you are standing close enough and at the right angle; the prompt may not appear.
