This article shows how to complete the Mystical Key quest in Crimson Desert. It is the 10th main quest of the game, where you will need to examine the key after it transforms. Then make your way to Hernand Castle to locate the hidden alchemist’s chamber.
Examine the key from the old man
As the quest begins, open your inventory and select the Shabby Wooden Key. Examine it, and it will change into a Metal Key.
Go to Hernand Castle
Mount your horse and ride to Hernand Castle. The guard at the gate will not let you enter in your current outfit.
Open your inventory and equip the purple item “Hernandian Attire,” which you received during the first main quest. The guard will let you inside the castle only after you change your outfit.
Inside the castle, follow the straight path until you reach a locked iron gate. Wait for the soldiers to open it, then head inside the main castle building. Go up the stone stairs to the second floor. Enter the first doorway on your left, where two guards are standing.
After that, enter the first hallway on your right.
Find the room the key opens
Go up the stairs, then enter the doorway on your left to reach the hall.
Inside the hall, go through the first door on the left.
Go through the shining gate
Once you enter the room, look around to find a treasure chest. Open it to collect the loot inside. You will also notice that one of the walls in the room begins to move, and a glowing door opens behind it. Pass through this gate to end the quest.
