In this walkthrough, you will learn how to complete every objective in the Polar Opposites main quest and move forward to investigate the massive building filled with mysterious energy in Crimson Desert.
Activate the Abyss Nexus
This quest starts automatically after the previous main quest “Mystical Key” ends, where you need to go through an Abyss Gate and arrive in a new place called the Abyss. Move ahead toward the building to find a platform on the ground. Step onto it to unlock fast travel at that location.
Go toward the building
Move toward the building to start a cut scene. This will be followed by a tutorial on how to use the Axiom Force.
Find a way into the building
To get inside the building, you need to fix a simple power puzzle using Axiom Force. First, turn on your lantern to see the yellow lines on the plates. These yellow lines show the path on the plates through which power can flow.
Next, your goal is to rotate the plates so the yellow lines connect with the nearby pipes to form one full path.
Use Axiom Force to grab each plate, then rotate it to complete the circuit. Simply turn both plates 90 degrees to the left (anti-clockwise) so the paths line up, and the power can flow. Once both plates are lined up correctly, the power will flow, and the path into the building will open.
Enter the building
After the cutscene, go inside and follow the hallway to meet Alustin.
