In this guide, you’ll find a clear walkthrough of every objective in the Reunion mission, along with steps to unravel the secret of the ancient ruins puzzle in Crimson Desert. This is the 16th main quest in the game, where you will also acquire “Nature’s Grasp” & “Focus” skill.
Speak with the child
At the start of the quest, you’ll be near a watchtower where a child is sitting on top of an archway. Speak with the child, Rulupee. He tells you that his friend has a special gift for you as a thank you for bringing back the cat, Jiji. He also mentions that Jiji will personally guide you to the location.
Follow the cat
You’ll now need to follow a cat through the forest path, as the cat will lead you directly to the next objective. This section is straightforward, with no enemies or major obstacles.
Speak to the child
Eventually, the cat will lead you to a blocked path with a large wall. Focus on the hologram of the child to unlock a new ability called Nature’s Grasp.
You can use this ability to lift the wall blocking your path. Once the wall is lifted, it stays open permanently, allowing you to enter the next area.
Learn Focus Through Observation
Inside, you’ll come across a small puzzle area. Before solving it, focus on the child hologram again to unlock another ability called Focus.
Note: This skill is not required for this quest.
Unravel the secret of the ancient ruins
In this section, you need to solve the puzzle using the wall mechanisms.
- Use your force push ability on the center plug to push it inward. This will cause nearby plugs to pop out.
- Hit the left plugs to change their positions.
- Finally, hit the right side plug so that all plugs are pressed in
Once all the plugs are aligned correctly, the puzzle is solved and the path opens to progress in the quest.
Approach the child
After solving the puzzle, head back outside. You’ll receive the Abyss Crusade, which serves as your reward for the quest.
