This walkthrough will guide you through each step of the mission “The Missing Seal” to read the unsealed letter and meet the witch in Crimson Desert.
Read the unsealed letter
As soon as the quest starts, open your inventory and select the Unsealed letter. Examine the letter.
Go meet the witch
After reading the letter, you may notice that no objective appears on your map. This can be confusing, but there’s a simple fix:
- Open your Journal
- Go to the Main Quest section.
- Select Guest Unbidden > Missing Seal
- Choose View Information
This will redirect you to a related faction quest. From there:
- Toggle tracking of the new quest
- Open your map again, and you should now see the objective appear southwest of Hernand.
Investigating the House/Hut & Rescuing the Captive
Head to the marked location southwest of Hernand. Defeat the enemies in the area. After that, you will find that the front door of the house/hut will be locked, and you need to use an alternate route.
Climb onto the structure and enter through the opening, then crouch and crawl through a small gap. Then drop down inside. Inside, you will find an NPC person. Approach her and untie her. This will trigger a cutscene.
Meeting the Witch of Wisdom
Open your map to locate the new objective southwest of Hernand. When you arrive, enter the witch’s house through the open door.
Inside, speak with the witch. After progressing through the dialogue and completing these interactions, the Missing Seal quest will be completed.
