In this article, we’ll guide you on how to complete all objectives of the side quest “Cold Pork” in Dead Island 2. In Dead Island 2 at Venice Beach, you’ll find the Blue Crab Restaurant where Trent and his friends are hiding. They heard gunshots from the police station nearby the previous night and want you to investigate what happened there.
Starting Location
After finishing the main quest “Red Mist“, you can start “Cold Pork“. Speak to Trent near the workbench in the Venice Beach headquarters to begin the side quest.
Break into the police station on the beach
On the western side of the police station, there’s an unlocked door. Inside, you’ll see a window on the left and two doors: one straight ahead (restroom) and one locked beside the window.
Shoot the maglock beside the window to break it. Then, go straight ahead (restroom) and find another maglock on the wall. Break it to unlock the door and enter the police station.
Search the police station premises for guns
Go to the left office and grab the Police Dept. Keycard from the shelf on the right wall. Use the keycard to unlock the security keypad in the corridor.
Take the storage room key from the counter and use it to open the storage room door. Inside, interact with the green box on the floor to complete the objective. There are a bunch of lockers to loot in here for ammo and crafting reagents, as well as an Assault Shotgun (Rare).
Bring the guns back to the Blue Crab
Exit and return to the Blue Crab. Give the items to Trent to finish the side quest.
Make Trent’s day
On finishing the quest you will be rewarded with 3,000 XP, $500 cash.
