If you’re looking for a strong early-game shield in Crimson Desert, the Deminis Royal Guard Shield is a great pickup. It’s a Tier 5 shield with solid stats, and you can get it fairly early if you know where to look. In this guide, I’ll show you how to get the Deminis Royal Guard Shield in Crimson Desert.
Where to Find the Shield
The shield is located just to the east of Demeniss, near the Church of East Demens. Once you arrive at this location, head into the church grounds. You’ll notice a small graveyard area nearby. Refer to the map below.
From there, make your way to the southwest corner of the compound. In this corner, you’ll find a hole in the ground. Drop down into it to enter a hidden catacomb area.
Navigating the Catacombs
Once inside, move slowly through the dungeon. There are many traps. Watch for tripwires and traps on the floor. Use your bow to shoot them from far away so you stay safe.
In the first section of the catacomb, you’ll find a lever. Pull it to raise a rock door, which opens the path to the next room.
Trap Room & Lever Puzzle
After passing through, you’ll enter a dangerous trap room. Run quickly to avoid getting hit as the traps trigger. Next, keep an eye out for another tripwire ahead. Use your bow to safely disable it before moving forward.
In the next room, you’ll see three levers. Only interact with the lever on the right side wall. This is the correct one that leads to the reward.
