Destiny 2: All Lost Encryption Bit Locations Guide & Where to Use Them

This article will guide you on where to find all 15 Lost Encryption Bits in the Final Shape Expansion in Destiny 2. Once you find all the 15 Lost Encryption Bits, you can use them at The Impasse to unlock the legendary version of the Khvostov 7G-02.

Lost Encryption Bits from the Region Chests

You can find nine of the Lost Encryption Bits from the Region Chests. Each region has three Region Chests.

The Landing region chest location 1

The first region chest is found in the southern part of The Landing zone.

Head to this location and enter the building within the cliff wall. You’ll find the chest at the rear of that room.

The Landing region chest location 2

The second region’s chest is located in the tunnels. The location is marked on the map.

The Landing region chest location 3

The region chest for The Landing area can be found beneath a waterfall near one of the large bridges.

The chest is on a ledge.

The Blooming region chest location 1

The first Blooming region chest is located to the northeast of the landing zone.

Access it through the tunnel in the nearby rock wall, and you’ll find the chest on the ledge shown in the image above.

The Blooming region chest location 2

The second Blooming region chest is atop a large tree to the west of the Landing zone.

The Blooming region chest location 3

The third and final Blooming region chest is located just west of the second chest.

The chest is located on the cliff edge.

The Impasse region chest location 1

The chest is located just southwest of the landing zone as shown in the map.

Navigate to the marked location on the map and jump down to claim the chest.

The Impasse region chest location 2

The region chest is situated within a small cave.

Visit the location marked on the map and locate the cave shown below.

The Impasse region chest location 3

Located southeast of the Landing Zone.

It is located on top of a large white structure.

Find the 6 Lost Encryption Bits in Each Cyst

To access the Cysts, the player needs to complete the “Alone in the Dark” quests. This quest unlocks after finishing enough Lost Ghost quests with Micah-10 in The Lost City.

Then, you need to complete “Alone in the Dark” six times (multiple times) to unlock all the Cysts around the Pale Heart. There are six cysts spread throughout the Pale Heart of the Traveler. The player can find Lost Encryption Bit by completing each of these Cyst Missions.
