Diabolical Drones of Doom is a Paradise Island task in the Outer Worlds 2. This guide will walk you through where to start the quest, how to complete each objective, and what rewards await you once you’ve completed the Diabolical Drones of Doom task in The Outer Worlds 2.

Starting Location
To begin the quest, head to the jail building after you arrive in Fairfield. It’s located just south of the big statue in the center of town. You’ll find a computer terminal outside the front door. Interact with it and select “WANTED: Drones” to start the Diabolical Drones of Doom task.
Go to the Abandoned Power Substation West of Fairfield
After you start the Diabolical Drones of Doom task at the jail terminal in Fairfield, your next goal is to find the drone facility, which is located northwest of town.
To get there, follow the main path and keep going northwest. Keep walking until you reach an abandoned power substation near the western coast of Paradise Island to find the facility.
When you arrive, you’ll notice that the area is full of drones buzzing around the facility. You can deal with the drones in two different ways:
- Combat Option: If you like fighting, take out your weapon and shoot down all the drones. They’re not too hard to defeat.
- Technical Option: If you want to be smart about it, look for a control panel just to the left side of the gate. You can use it to turn off or reset the drones. To do this, you’ll need the Engineering (2) skill, or one of these perks: Electro-Therapist or Manual Reset.
Once all the drones have been dealt with, return to the Bounty Terminal in Fairfield. This will end the quest, and you will receive 1000 XP, an Advanced Decryption Key, and 350 Bits as a reward.
