This walkthrough will show you how to complete the world quest “Dimming Mushroom’s Call for Help” of The Chasm’s Underground Mines in Genshin Impact 2.6. It’s recommended to unlock the whole area first by doing the succeeding quest, Wherefore Did the Spiritstone Descend? for you to have a better vision of the area!
Dimming Mushroom’s Call for Help
To initiate the quest, follow the river southwards in the Glowing Narrows area until you encounter a large glowing mushroom. I have marked the location of the mushroom (named Xamaran ) on the map below.
As the quest starts, your first goal is to interact with the giant mushroom and then recharge Xamaran with your Lumen energy. you need at least Level 4 on your Lumenstone Adjuvant gadget to recharge Xamaran.
Help Xamaran clear the foul energy out
The giant mushroom will first ask for your help to remove the foul energy (dark mud). You’ll need to use your Lumenstone Adjuvant to clear out the Oozing Concretion bulbs in the three locations. I have marked the three locations on the map below.
Help Xamaran’s Kin
Next, Xamaran will ask for your help in bringing five mushrooms back to life. The game will provide you with the location of a small mushroom location that you need to charge with energy. After charging all the five mushrooms head back to Xamaran.
Follow the Water Flow and Search for the Source of the Foul Energy
Xamaran will reward you with the “Blessing of Wisdom” and will ask for final help in cleansing the corrupted energy, which you can find by following the flow of water.
The quest marker will not appear on the map until you are close to the correct location. To complete this particular objective you just need to follow the river path going north until you see a Pyro Abyss Mage and an Oozing Concretion. I have marked the exact location on the map below.
Defeat Pyro Abyss Mage and use “Blessing of Wisdom” on the Oozing Concretion to clear the source of foul energy. You will find a precious chest here too.
Finally, head back to speak with Xamaran to end the quest. Your will also complete the achievement “The Mushroom that Ask too Much”
