In this walkthrough, we’ll show you the exact locations of all secrets, toys, codex pages, skins, and gold hidden throughout the first chapter of the game, Doom: The Dark Ages.
Secret #1
The first collectible is Secret #1. After you finish the Power Gauntlet tutorial, walk through the open door.
Break the wooden wall on the left side. Go inside, then look left again to find Secret #1.
Secret #2 And Toy #1 (Imp)
After you get the Blue Key (part of the main story), break the green wooden wall and drop down to the lower floor.
When you land, turn around and go through the archway.
Follow the path to find a locked cell. Use the Blue Key to open it. Go inside to find a secret and a toy.
Secret #3 And Weapon Skin #1
Keep playing the main story until you reach an open area. There, you’ll find the Shredder weapon inside a pod. From that spot, go right toward the cliff.
You’ll see a door you can reach by running and jumping down.
Go inside and walk up to the Weapon Skin to make the enemies spawn. Shoot the red barrels to defeat them easily. Finally, you can grab the Weapon Skin and a Secret.
Secret #4 And Toy #2 (Soldier)
Go back to the open area where you picked up the Shredder weapon. This time, head left toward the cliff.
Drop down from the cliff to find an archway.
Go inside to find a Toy collectible.
Secret #5
After closing the 3rd demonic gate, go to the right of the giant crane (the left path leads to the 4th demonic gate). Follow the path along the cliff to find the Purple Key.
Next, go back to the starting area that is marked on the map above. Use the Purple Key to unlock a gate that leads to a secret.
Codex #1 (Doom Slayer)
Go to the area behind Secret #5. You can see it marked on the map.
Climb to the top to find a Codex Entry.
Secret #6 And Codex #2 (Village Of Khalim)
After you destroy all 4 demonic gates, go to the next area. Refer to the location below.
Climb the wall to find a Codex Entry.
