In this guide, you’ll find the exact locations of all secrets, gold, toys, and codex entries hidden throughout Chapter 15: City of Ry’uul in the game Doom: The Dark Ages.
Secret 1 + 50 Gold (50/359)
Go to the cliff on the left side of the island. Look down and you’ll see a ledge you can jump onto. Drop down to it, and go into the cave to find the chest with 50 gold.
Secret 2 + Wraithstone 1
Mount the dragon and fly toward the mountain at the edge of the map. Defeat the Titan guarding the area, then proceed through the archway behind it and land. Eliminate all the demons to claim the Wraithstone.
8 Gold (58/359) + Secret 3 + Ruby 1
Mount your dragon and head back to the center of the map. From there, dive straight down to the very bottom. At the bottom, you’ll find a body of water—jump in and swim forward.
Look for a hole behind some pillars that you can dive into. Go through the hole and follow the path to discover some gold.
Continue through the underwater tunnel, and you’ll eventually emerge inside a gated building with a statue holding a ruby.
16 Gold (74/359) + Secret 4 + 12 Gold (86/359)
Follow the main story to obtain the Heaven Splitter Shield Rune. As you head up the ramp, continue until you reach the middle path.
When the ramp breaks, move to the left and drop down onto a ledge where you’ll find 16 gold.
Then, keep going up the ramp and take the spiral staircase on the right to discover more gold and a Sentinel Shrine.
18 Gold (104/359)
Go behind the Stasis Emitter and head up the ramp to find some gold. Then, enter the structure and drop down to discover even more gold.
Hell Fighter 1
Deactivate the Stasis Emitter (as part of the story). Once you mount your dragon, a Hell Fighter will attempt to escape—chase it down and take it out.
26 Gold (130/359)
Dive back down to where you came from, and you’ll spot a tunnel you can fly through. This leads to a hidden landing zone, where you’ll find 26 gold scattered around the area.
Secret 5 + Weapon Skin + Wraithstone 2
Enter the portal to travel to a new area and defeat all the enemies you encounter. Continue moving forward, following the main story path, and you’ll find the Weapon Skin and Wraithstone 2 at the end.
Hell Fighter 2
Once you mount your dragon, a Hell Fighter #2 will attempt to escape—chase it down and take it out.
8 Gold (138/359)
Follow the main story and go into the tunnel. Keep flying down the tunnel until you reach another landing area. Then, use the jump pad to reach the higher ledge with the green body. Grapple to it and you’ll find 8 gold there.
Secret 6 + Toy 1 (Arachnotron)
Break the chain in the room where you found the last collectible, then move forward. On the left side, look for a breakable wall—go inside to find a toy.
Secret 7 + 50 Gold (188/359)
Drop down to the lower floor and head to the large broken area in the center. Shoot the wall behind the jump pad to reveal a gold chest.
5 Gold (193/359) + Secret 8 + Ruby 2
Head northwest and drop down to reach a room filled with explosive barrels. Go up the ramp, and look above to find an orange chain. Break the chain to drop a crate.
The crate will lift the gate across from you, letting you land on the jump pad. The jump pad will launch you up to where you can collect 5 gold and a ruby.
Secret 9 + 16 Gold (209/359)
Keep playing through the chapter until you drop down from a pipe to the ground below. Turn around and go toward the ledge, then drop down again. There, you’ll find 18 gold and a Life Sigil.
Demonic Essence – Health
Keep following the main story path downward until you reach a Gore Nest. It becomes available automatically after you defeat the Cyberdemon miniboss in this encounter.
15 Gold (224/359) + Codex 1 (Spire of Nerathul)
After the Gore Nest, head to the left side (west) and drop down to the lower level to find 5 gold.
Continue down the ramps, and just before crossing a fallen pillar on a river, you’ll come across another 5 gold.
Cross the water and head left toward the waterfall. Look for a ledge below you, where you’ll find some gold and a codex.
Hell Fighter 3
As soon as you mount your dragon, a Titan will attack you. Defeat it, and then a Hell Fighter will try to escape—chase it down and destroy it.
Ruby 3
Progress through the chapter by flying down the tunnel until you reach an open area. There, look to your left for a circular tower. Enter the tower and defeat the monsters inside. This will remove the barrier around the statue, allowing you to collect the Ruby.
Secret 10 + 13 Gold (237/359)
Head to the location marked on the eastern side of your current position on the map. Look underneath the floor there to find the gold.
15 Gold (252/359)
Follow the main story and take the elevator down. The location of the elevator is marked on the map.
In the new area, you’ll find 15 gold scattered around for you to collect.
25 Gold (277/359)
Follow the main story until you land at another dragon landing zone. Turn around and enter the building behind you. Go down the ramp, then turn around to find another ramp leading underneath to the other side. Follow this path to find 25 gold scattered around the area.
Secret 11 + Toy 2 (Revenant)
Climb the wall next to the previous collectible and head up the tower. Use the jump pad to reach the top floor.
From there, walk to the edge of the railing and look down to spot a ledge below with a collectible toy.
Demonic Essence – Ammo
Automatically unlocked after defeating the Revenant miniboss during the red combat encounter.
16 Gold (293/359)
Follow the main story and take the elevator up. Then, go up the ramp and drop off the ledge to the left to reach a lower area. There, you’ll find some gold inside a cave.
50 Gold (343/359)
Break the chain and head up the ramp to return to the area where you previously dropped off the ledge. Look up to spot a large stone hanging by a chain. Throw your shield at it to bring it down, then smash the chest to collect 50 gold.
16 Gold (359/359)
Keep moving north and use the two jump pads to reach the top of the structure. When you land, you’ll see an opening ahead—go through it, then turn right to find 16 gold.
Codex 2 (Serrat)
Head right on the map to find the Codex 2 near the elevator.
