Doom The Dark Ages Chapter 15: City of Ry’uul Collectible Locations

In this guide, you’ll find the exact locations of all secrets, gold, toys, and codex entries hidden throughout Chapter 15: City of Ry’uul in the game Doom: The Dark Ages.

Secret 1 + 16 Gold (16/182)

Go to the location marked on the map, head north, and pass through the archway toward the ledge. Drop down and break through the vines.

Inside, grapple to the green corpse and take the elevator up. At the top, you’ll find 16 Gold and a purple stone.

Secret 2 + Ruby 1

Use the purple stone to open the gate. Then go to the jump pad and use it to reach the Ruby on the higher ledge.

Secret 3 + 9 Gold (25/182)

Head back to the ledge you used earlier for the #1 collectible and jump across the gap.

Go inside and climb the wall to find another Shield Charge ring. Instead of going through it, drop off the ledge to the left and enter the cave below to find 9 Gold and a Life Sigil.

5 Gold (30/182)

From the previous spot, go back to the #2 Shield Charge ring you skipped earlier and use it to reach the ledge ahead.

Then, don’t go through the #3 Shield Charge ring and walk toward the ledge. Drop down to collect 5 more Gold.

Secret 4 + Codex 1 (City of Ry’uul) + 6 Gold (36/182)

Progress through the chapter and activate the portal as part of the main story.

Keep following the story and activate the jump pad.

Use the jump pad to reach a higher level. Once you’re up there, go up the small set of stairs on the left and walk toward the cliff.

Drop down to find more Gold and then climb up the wall to find the Codex.

Secret 5 + 50 Gold (86/182)

Return to the ledge where you dropped down for the previous collectible. Look straight ahead to spot a green corpse across the gap. Grapple over to the ledge to find a chest with 50 Gold and a secret area.

Secret 6 + 4 Gold (90/182) + Ruby 2

Keep going through the chapter until you reach the spot marked on the map. Go into the next room and drop down. Throw your shield at the blue gear to make a platform go up.

When the platform is up, go into the water below it. You’ll find 4 Gold and a path that leads to a Ruby behind a gate.

Demonic Essence – Health

Automatically obtained by defeating the Agaddon Hunter miniboss.

26 Gold (116/182) + Secret 7

Keep going through the chapter until you find a purple stone that activates an elevator.

Ignore it and go into the tunnel instead.

On the right side, you’ll find 3 Gold.

Then, go left and squeeze through a small space, carefully passing the fire launchers to find 16 more Gold and a secret.

Secret 8 + 50 Gold (166/182)

Go back to the purple stone and activate it to ride the elevator up. Follow the corridor, then drop off the ledge to find 50 Gold and a secret area.

6 Gold (172/182)

Keep playing through the chapter until you find a Shield Charge ring. Use it to launch yourself forward, then go into the cave under the platform in front of you. Inside, you’ll find 6 Gold along the path.

3 Gold (175/182)

After collecting the previous Gold, climb the wall and jump across the gap. Keep moving forward and jump to the ledge on the left to find 3 Gold on a platform.

4 Gold (179/182)

Drop down from the ledge and head to the left side. Use the jump pad to reach the Shield Charge ring and use it to reach 4 Gold.

3 Gold (182/182) + Secret 9 + Demonic Essence – Armor

Go back to the previous platform and drop down from the ledge. Enter the tunnel to find some Gold.

Follow the tunnel to the end and use the Shield Charge ring to launch yourself toward a Gore Nest. Destroy it, then defeat the Hell Knight miniboss to earn the Demonic Essence.
