Dusty Old Files is an Exploration Mission in Arknights: Endfield 1.0. This article will guide the player on how to complete all the objectives of the quest Dusty Old Files in Arknights: Endfield


Starting Location

The Dusty Old Files quest unlocks automatically during the Walk in the Park main mission. During the Walk in the Park quest, speak with NPC Kitts at Originuim Science Park to start the quest.

Follow Kitt’s Directions

After speaking to Kitt, turn right and follow the pathway ahead. You will soon see a glowing red orb in the middle of the path. This orb blocks your progress and cannot be walked around. Attack it until it breaks, and the path opens.

Once the orb is destroyed, move forward to encounter a laser grid stretching across the corridor. Time your movement carefully to pass through without taking damage. After crossing the laser grid, continue ahead to enter the next room.

Find the Handyterms with the Research Data

Once you reach a larger room, go to the table on the left. Here you will find the research data. After collecting it, interact with the device nearby to start and solve the repair logic puzzle, where you need to arrange the three repair logic pieces correctly to fix the module.

Recover the Second Research File

Continue deeper into the facility until you enter a large room filled with laser grids. Watch the movement of the laser light and pass through the corridor safely.

Next, go into the next room. Approach the table on the right side to locate the research data and solve the second repair logic puzzle. After fixing it, read the file to collect the research data.

Recover the Last Research Data

Head north into the hallway where a laser grid blocks the path. Time your movement carefully and quickly run into the room on the left to stay clear of the lasers. Once inside, go to the table in the room to find the final research data. Interact with it and read the file to collect it.

Talk to Harper

Go to the right side of the last research data to reach the end of the hallway. Use a box to jump over the laser grid and enter the control room on the right to find Harper. Talk to him and choose one of the three options: keep his secret, share his data, or give him the research data.

Get the Repair Logic Puzzle Piece in Harper’s Room

Interact with the glowing yellow circuitry in the center of the room where Harper is. This item is needed to solve a repair puzzle in a later quest called Repair Story.

Submit the Research Data

Leave Harper’s room and go right. Use the switch to open the door and exit. Once outside, Kitt contacts, and this will end the quest.
