How to get powerful Staff Early

Demi-Human Queen’s Staff Location
You will get Demi-Human Queen’s Staff in the Demi-Human Forest Ruins, which is in Weeping Peninsula as shown in the pictures below. Weeping Peninsula is south of Limgrave. When you first enter the open world in Limgrave, you arrive at The First Step site of grace as shown in the second picture below. From there, go southeast along the cliff until you reach the Bridge of Sacrifice. Cross the Bridge of Sacrifice to enter the Weeping Peninsula. Then go west to reach the Demi-Human Forest Ruins as shown in the second picture below. Defeat the main enemy in the ruins and it will drop Demi-Human Queen’s Staff.
Meteorite Staff Location
Meteorite Staff is an S-Class staff, which means it scales with intelligence. The staff is in the Street of Sages Ruins, which is in the Caelid area as shown in the pictures below. This may seem far from the starting point, but there is a trick that will help you get the staff early in the game. Click here to see how to reach the Streets of Sages early in the game.
In the Street of Sages Ruins, go to the building at the southwest corner. If you look inside, you will see the staff is on a corpse hanging on the window. The room has a few poisonous flowers. So, you can take the staff by walking on the narrow ledge behind the building as shown in the pictures below.
Astrologer’s Staff Location
You can purchase Astrologer’s Staff for 800 runes from the merchant marked in the pictures below. Astrologer’s Staff is also the starter staff for the Astrologer class.
