God of War Ragnarok: Eastern Barri Woods Collectibles

This guide shows the location of the Collectibles and how to get them in the Eastern Barri Woods area of the Vanaheim Region in God of War Ragnarok.

1) Remnants of Asgard

When you enter the Eastern Barri Woods from Freyr’s Camp, you will find Remnants of Asgard at the location shown in the picture below. They spawn only if you have completed the Main Story Quests.

2) Odin’s Raven

From the Remnants of Asgard location, crouch through the tree trunk on the north side of the area. After coming out, continue ahead, and then take the path going right as shown below. As you approach the giant tree on the right side, turn around and look up to find the raven as shown in the pictures below.

3) Lore (Scroll – The Aesir Promise)

After getting the raven, climb up the stairs to find the scroll as shown in the pictures below.

4) Nornir Chest

Keep climbing the stairs after getting the lore scroll to reach the Nornir chest at the location shown in the pictures below. To unlock the chest, you will have to hit three posts to make the same symbols appear on them as on the chest.

Post #1 is on the left side of the chest as shown in the picture below. Hit it until the symbol “F” appears on it. For Post #2, go in the path in front of the chest. At the end of the path, you will see the post on a structure far away as shown in the pictures below. Hit it until the symbol “C” appears on it.

For the final post, go on the path right of the chest. Here you will see the post on the right side of the path as shown in the picture below. The post will be covered with vines. Use your blade to burn the vines. Then hit the post until the symbol “P” appears on it. This will unlock the chest. Open it to get a Horn of Blood Mead.

5) Lore (Rune Read – Verdant)

Climb down the stairs, then go southeast and enter the tunnel as shown in the picture below.

Proceed ahead and cross the gap on the left side by hugging the wall.

Keep going ahead in the linear path. Freeze the poisonous plants on the way as shown in the picture below. Then destroy the barrier on the path to find the Rune Read on the left wall behind it as shown in the second picture below.
